SQUIRREL OF THE DAY

Squirrel of the Day is a personal project that germinated out of winter boredom and blossomed in the spring of 2020, when we all suddenly had to stay close to home to avoid the coronavirus, COVID-19. I decided to use my daily exercise walk to get to know the squirrels in my neighborhood in Washington, DC. All the squirrels in my photos live in one of the parks around me: most in Montrose Park, some in Rose Park, and some in Franklin Square, the home of Gandalf the White.
